Purerua Peninsula, Far North

A new country lodge set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, set within the Purerua Peninsula in the far north, offering events, catering and dining options, clay bird shooting, golf range and many other activities on and off site.

The lodge was created by its current owners to provide tourists and locals alike an events destination sorely missing in the far north, along with an incredible events staff to create an atmosphere and occasion like no other in the area.

Our Input

We have been involved in the project from very early on in the process taking an existing very uninspiring building and turning it into what you see today, we have taken the lead on design input, construction evaluation and implementation, to fully inclusive local authority and regulatory compliance, from planning and resource consents to building and final compliance certification, CCC.

With the area of outstanding natural beauty, it was necessary to compliment this with a sympathetic approach to the final product to ensure it became part of its surroundings and not be imposing over it, we worked tirelessly with local authorities and planners to ensure the best outcome for all parties, whilst ensuring the premises can operate as the clients intended and was accessible to all.

The owners are extremely pleased with the outcome, the hard work expertise and dedication this project required, and the outcome was exactly what they were hoping for! The premises are currently operating very successfully, with future plans and some very exciting additions proposed for the near future, watch this space!
