    We bring a wealth of experience to any residential or commercial project and construction scenarios, be it pre-construction consultation through to full build project management, pre/post construction local authority assistance, to managing local authority compliance issues, utilizing our years of experience we can assist with ensuring you can realize the true value of your investment, we know that even the smallest project can have huge issues if not managed correctly from the outset however we have the experience and expertise to assist at any stage of the process with any construction projects and or property management situation.

We have over 30yrs worldwide project and construction management experience, in a hugely varied portfolio of projects be it residential, commercial, retail, hospitality or industrial sectors we have the experience to help,

We have worked on and been involved in many varied awarded construction projects from high end residential, commercial, industrial and interiors/fitout projects throughout the whole of New Zealand and projects in the regions are our specialty, as a small local team we offer you a personal one to one experience throughout the project lifetime and beyond, most of our clients become very good friends!

Project Management

  • We can provide an initial site survey to identify any potential site issues that may affect the design and could have financial implications and fully document our findings.

  • Oversee your project from concept throughout the full construction-phase, monitor potential variations and advise accordingly, supervise on-site activity including all trades in relation to Health & Safety, programme, quality, defects and financial management.

  • Ensure the SSSP (Site Specific Safety Plan) is implemented during the construction phase of the project, and any HSS documentation is filed in accordance with our Health and safety policies.

  • Coordinate with all stake holders inc landlords regarding final scheduling including client supplied items, handover, final council and/or landlord trading requirements, to ensure you can occupy and or trade as soon as practical completion has been achieved.

  • Instruct all trades & suppliers on behalf of the client.

  • All contractor or subcontractors invoices are paid directly by the client.

  • Prepare monitor and implement the Construction programme, update all stake holders at regular intervals including site meetings.

  • Ensure all local authority final documentation, producers statements and engineering reports are obtained and issued to the council.

  • Main/Sub-contractor selection including looking after the full pre through and post tender process

  • FFE selection including Kitchen equipment, Appliances, Specialist Equipment

  • Specialist suppliers and equipment, security, POS services, AV, hardware, light fixtures and fittings including design evaluation and supply of 3D modelling as required.

  • Signage internal/external and/or branding assistance.

I am an architect, and well used to the intricacies and problems in dealing with the Auckland Council for building consent approvals. in this case, we were about to sell our house and for various reasons, did not have a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) issued in 2002 when the house was built and were advised that the true value of the property would not be achieved without the CCC. We felt that, even with many years' experience in dealing with Council, commissioning DBN to achieve this was definitely the way to go, saving us from the stress and time involvement we could see coming up at a very busy and restrictive Covid 19 time. Within a very reasonable time, Dave had contacted the Council, obtained a new Building Consent number, organized to have the house inspected, had a short list of minor items attended to, He also collated the technically detailed information needed and submitted to Council with a very successful outcome - a CCC. We will definitely be involving Dave with any future applications to Council.
